Newcastle-under-Lyme, United Kingdom, October 2023: Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers, has bolstered its membership with the addition of EXPO FOODS (Midlands) as a new member to the group.

Doncaster-based EXPO FOODS (Midlands) is one of the leading wholesalers and distributors in the UK. Trading since 2008, the wholesaler offers a wide range of ethnic impulse, ambient grocery, alcohol, dairy products as well as fruits, vegetables, processed meat and fish to its customers. The company has two depots based in Doncaster and London allowing them to have effective national coverage by offering wholesale distribution and cash and carry services.

EXPO FOODS (Midlands) has added £13 million in excess to the group’s existing buying power of over £2 billion.

EXPO FOODS (Midlands) Director, Gokhan Koseoglu said: “We joined Sugro for directly contacting suppliers, to find out best deals with the support of Sugro’s buying team. We are also planning to extend our product range, l believe Sugro’s extensive supplier base and members network will help us achieve our growth targets.
