Sugro UK, the leading member-owned buying and marketing group announced their company rebranding at their annual conference and trade show exhibition in Liverpool.

The unique co-operative comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers offers a diverse entrepreneurial service to its members with a total combined buying power of £1.8 billion and has now achieved 18 years of consecutive growth.

Sugro has experienced exponential growth up to the end of the first quarter this year with the growth of 31% compared to the same period in 2022. Having primarily focused on impulse categories, Sugro is diversifying its traditional business model to offer support for catering, alcohol and non-food categories to its members. The visual rebrand includes a new logo and diversifies the focus of the group to new categories.

The rebrand provides an insight into the Sugro values of ‘Strength, Unity, Growth, Reliability and Opportunity’ and reflects the group’s evolution of digitalisation and diversification, working closely with digital partners to enhance their eCommerce offering as well as their marketing capabilities.

Having brought numerous new Members and Suppliers on board in recent months, the group predicts a strong year of growth in 2023, along with many exciting projects to come.

The new look solidifies the future of Sugro within the wholesale sector as a modern, all-inclusive, and member-centric buying group.

Sugro UK saw unprecedented attendance at the conference with over 200 Members and Supply Partners coming to the event.
